Manchester United plans to invest £150m in three midfielders this summer.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers may pursue quarterback Dillon Gabriel for depth after the 2026 NFL Draft, following the Cleveland Browns' crowded quarterback situation. Gabriel's rookie season included six starts with 937 yards, seven touchdowns, and two interceptions.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be in the market for quarterback depth depending on how their room develops, and one post-draft projection has already connected them to a potential trade option.
In a recent Bleacher Report article, Dillon Gabriel was listed as a possible trade candidate following Cleveland’s decision to continue adding at the position. After drafting another quarterback, the Browns now have a crowded room, which could make Gabriel available for a late-round return.
In Gabriel’s rookie season, he appeared in six starts, completing 59.5 percent of his passes for 937 yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions, finishing with an 80.8 passer rating. The efficiency was uneven, reflected in a 5.1 yards-per-attempt average, but he limited mistakes and showed enough command to function as a spot starter. His underlying numbers back that up, with 10 turnover-worthy plays across 217 dropbacks and a 69.2 adjusted completion rate, showing a mix of risk and controlled decision-making.
Baker Mayfield remains in place as the starter, but his long-term outlook is still to be determined, while Jake Browning is currently on a short-term deal.
That leaves room for a developmental addition. Gabriel would not be expected to push for a starting role, but he could provide depth and give the Buccaneers a younger option to develop behind the scenes as the position continues to evolve.
