Player salaries are perhaps the largest change in this deal, with rookie salaries often increasing six times over. There is also a new salary cap for single-player contracts and teams as a whole. Alongside these changes comes a longer season with better facilities and revenue sharing.
Caitlin Clark has not had to worry about the rookie salaries nearly as much as some of her teammates and opponents. According to a 2025 Sportico report, Clark made over $16 million from sponsors last year.
But with the updated CBA also comes a new salary for the Indiana Fever guard. Here's how much Caitlin Clark is expected to make for her contributions on the court in 2026.

Clark's new 2026 salary will jump to $528,846, per Spotrac. It will further increase in 2027, going up to $597,596. This marks a massive uptick from her $78,066 salary in 2025.
The current max salary is set at $1.4 million, which her teammate Kelsey Mitchell is set to earn, alongside A'ja Wilson. Clark is not yet eligible for this salary, but is likely to earn a similar amount once she enters free agency in a few short years.
Still on her rookie contract, Clark made $78,066 in 2025, a slight increase from the $76,535 she made during her rookie year in 2024.
The CBA has created a massive spike in rookie salaries as well in 2026, with No. 1 overall pick Azzi Fudd set to earn half a million dollars in her rookie season.
After being drafted, Clark's original deal was four years and a total of $338,056. In 2026 alone, she'll beat that initial number.
Clark will become a Restricted Free Agent after the 2027 season. At this point, the Fever will have the chance to make a qualifying offer. The Fever will also have the chance to match the price of any other team that Clark negotiates with.
