Caitlin Clark denied chemistry building opportunity with teammates

The Indiana Fever and their fans are extremely excited to finally have thier franchise player and the face of the league, Caitlin Clark, healthy again and back on the floor, after she missed most of the 2025 season with lower body injuries.

Clark officially returned to the floor in the Fever’s first preseason game against the New York Liberty. It was clear in the game that she had some rust to shake off, going 2-10 from the field for seven points. However, Clark’s form is all but certain to round out as she gets more reps under her belt.

Unfortunately, she has been denied the chance to build some necessary chemistry with some of her teammates, including All-Star forward Aliyah Boston, as they manage injuries of their own.

Boston, as well as wing Lexie Hull, missed the Liberty game, and are also being held out of Thursday’s game against the Dallas Wings.

“Steph White said she doesn’t anticipate playing Aliyah Boston, Ty Harris, or Lexie Hull tomorrow in the preseason game against Dallas,” IndyStarSports’ Chloe Peterson reported.

“I think we’ll still probably be cautious with that. I think the goal is probably to get, get some of them minutes on Saturday, if we can,” White said.

The Fever open the regular season against the Dallas Wings on May 8, so Thursday could’ve served as a great opportunity to see where the projected starters are at as the season encroaches. The good news is that Boston and Hull would probably give things a go
