Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever teammates dominate the top 10 WNBA player rankings, with Clark ranked third, Aliyah Boston ninth, and Kelsey Mitchell tenth. This trio boasts eight All-Star nods and aims for a championship this season.
When it comes to the best rosters in the WNBA, there may not be a team that has more top-tier talent than the Indiana Fever.
Indiana's trio of Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell have combined for eight All-Star nods, two Rookie of the Year awards, and three All-WNBA teams. Two of those three players aren't even 25 years old yet. Those three players make up the core of a team looking to win a WNBA championship this season.
Fever fans know how good their star trio is. And it seems like the WNBA media is on the same page. The Sporting News released its top ten WNBA players entering the 2026 season, and the Fever were well represented.
The Sporting News ranked Clark as the third-best player in the league entering this season. Boston was ranked ninth, with Mitchell right behind her at 10th. Here's a little bit more of what writer David Suggs had to say about each player.
Mitchell will likely see her usage rate decrease as Caitlin Clark returns to health. That shouldn't diminish her shine too much, however; she hasn't averaged fewer than 17.8 points per game since 2019." -David Suggs, The Sporting News
"Boston, too, dazzled in Clark's absence, producing more points and assists than any other campaign in her still-budding career. Her paint passing makes her a unicorn of sorts among paint talents." -David Suggs, The Sporting News
"She is the sport's preeminent playmaker and her gravity opens up the floor for the likes of Boston and Mitchell. All that amounts to a top-three player in the league. Expect Clark to enjoy a far better go of things in the 2026 season. -David Suggs, The Sporting News
Caitlin Clark is ranked third, Aliyah Boston is ninth, and Kelsey Mitchell is tenth in the WNBA player rankings for the 2026 season.
Together, Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, and Kelsey Mitchell have a total of eight All-Star nods.
The high rankings of Clark, Boston, and Mitchell highlight the Fever's strong roster and their potential to compete for a WNBA championship this season.
