Caitlin Clark is fully healthy and ready for the 2026 WNBA season after recovering from multiple injuries last year. She is set to start the preseason without restrictions.
The 2026 WNBA season is right around the corner, and the league’s biggest star is sharing an update on her health. Indiana Fever superstar Caitlin Clark was plagued by injuries last season, but is ready to enter the new year full steam ahead.
Clark, who was limited to just 13 games last season due to a right groin sprain, left quad injuries, and a left ankle bone bruise, shared an injury update just one week ahead of the start of the preseason.
According to Chloe Peterson of the Indy Star, Clark is “100 percent healthy” and “good to go” for the start of the 2026 campaign.

Clark noted that she is learning to manage reps.
“I feel great,” Clark said as the Fever opened training camp on Sunday. “Super excited to be back here. I think I have a great perspective on camp and not taking anything for granted.
“Obviously, this time last year I was going through some things. More than anything, I’m just really excited, I feel really healthy, and feel like I’ve put myself in a position to be as healthy as I can be to start the season.”

Last season, Clark averaged 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game while shooting just 36.7 percent from the field. Because of the multiple lower-body injuries, Clark struggled from behind the arc, shooting 27.9 percent. Having a healthy Clark back on the court will provide a major boost to the Fever.

Clark and the Fever will open their preseason campaign at the Barclays Center against the New York Liberty on Saturday, April 25. The team will tip off the regular season on Saturday, May 9, at home against the Dallas Wings. Tip-off at Gainbridge Fieldhouse is set for 1:00 p.m. ET.
