Riccardo Calafiori’s Arsenal are fighting for the Champions League title, but the Italian defender’s return to action remains unknown, according to UK sources.
Italy international Calafiori missed Arsenal’s 2-1 loss against Manchester City on Sunday, and it remains uncertain whether he will be available when the Gunners host Sando Tonali’s Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium next Saturday.
While The Standard reports that the nature of Calafiori’s injury remains unclear, Football London claims that the ex-Roma and Bologna defender is dealing with a foot injury.

Calafiori has missed the last three games across all competitions with Arsenal, making his most recent appearance in the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Sporting CP on April 7, when he played the full 90 minutes.
