If anything, he has proven that he is actually the most in-form golfer on the planet right now.

“It’s in great shape,“ he said.
*“*Fairways are really good. The greens are starting to dry out a little bit just with the wind and the sun. But obviously that’s not going to be a problem tomorrow.
“Yeah, I think the course has held up great. The rough is doable but still penal in the wrong places and, yeah, I think they did a really nice job of it.“
Young responded when asked by reporters why the golf course at Trump National Doral suits his game so much.
“I think I tend to play well at difficult golf courses, difficult setups, difficult conditions,“ the American insisted.
*“*This is all of those things. I think it plays into my hands a little bit. Mentally it’s a little easier for me when the scoring is not so low.
“Yeah, just feel like I’ve done my job well the last few days.“
Young just needs to play solid, smart golf on Sunday, as he looks to close out the Cadillac Championship.
He certainly has the game and mentality required to do so, but with Scottie Scheffler lurking and sitting alongside him in the final group, he won’t be able to rest on his laurels.
