Jacob Bridgeman's seven-week run at the top of the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup points standings ended at the Masters Tournament.
The new leader is Cameron Young, who tied for third at the Augusta National Golf Club, while Bridgeman tied for 41st. Young went from second to first with 312.5 points and Scottie Scheffler jumped from seventh to second with 500 points for his solo second.
Cameron Young's tie for third at the Masters was his fourth consecutuve finish of seventh or higher, and vaulted him to the top of the PGA Touir's FedEx Cup points race.
Bridgeman received 19.5 points and dropped to third.
Masters champion Rory McIlroy, who made only his fifth start of the season, moved from 24th to 7th with his 750 points.
Young also took over the PGA Tour money lead.
Bridgeman had led the points list since winning the Genesis Invitational in February, a Signature Event worth 700 points.
Young has made a steady climb up the ladder since he tied for seventh at the Genesis. In subsequent starts he tied for third at the Arnold Palmer Invitational and won The Players.
Young becomes the fourth player to lead the points list in 13 weeks.

With the PGA Tour holding a Signature Event this week at the RBC Heritage on Hilton Head Island, S.C., Young may have to work to keep his lead. He's among 25 of the top 30 points on the points list in the field, and leads Scheffler by only five points.
Anyone behind Young on the top nine can take over the points lead with a victory at the Harbour Town Golf Links. The tournament begins on April 16.
