Youngâs favorite part of his win? Being greeted by his family, who flew down to Doral on Sunday. On one hand, this might not be what you expect to hear from one of the hottest golfers on the planet. On the other, itâs exactly what you would expect to hear from Young. The Westchester-born pro went viral this spring for his habit of attending local church services with his wife and three children before his final rounds, no matter his position on the leaderboard or where the tour calendar might take them. So, if youâve been following along, you might even say this is EXTREMELY on brand for the family man, but still, itâs a breath of fresh air, especially because it seems like Young genuinely means it.

As for no. 2 and no. 3, Young said seeing his family was followed by winning the tournament (duh) and getting to sleep in his own bed on Sunday night. Hopefully he enjoys his own pillows and some home cooking while he can, because it will be a busy few weeks as Young heads off to the Truist Championship at Quail Hollow followed by the PGA Championship at Aroninmink Golf Club, where heâs expected to be one of the favorites. Thankfully it seems that wherever he goes, his family will never be far behind.
