Juventus Women's First Team will face Roma on April 25, 2026, at the Pozzo-La Marmora stadium. Coach Massimiliano Canzi expressed confidence, stating they are not afraid of their opponents.
Canzi: We are not afraid of Roma
Three weeks after their last competitive match, the Juventus Women's First Team are back in action, hosting Roma at the ‘Pozzo-La Marmora’ stadium in Biella on Serie A Matchday 19.
The kick-off is scheduled for tomorrow, Saturday 25 April 2026, at 12:30 CEST.
Massimiliano Canzi, in his customary pre-match interview, had this to say about the fixture.
“Over the next month, I’d like to see concrete results that will enable us to achieve our goals. These objectives will mark the difference between a ‘respectable’ season – having already won two trophies – and an excellent one: achieving them will define the value of our journey. I believe that within the squad, and particularly amongst the players, there is a full awareness of this. As we have always done, we will take it one step at a time, with so few matches remaining, it is easier to maintain a high level of concentration. The next step is Roma.”
“Those who stayed here worked with extraordinary dedication. We focused heavily on both physical conditioning and individual technical improvement, and we thoroughly enjoyed every training session. As we had a larger squad than on previous training camps, we were able to organise our work very effectively. The players returning from international duty, on the other hand, came back – as always – with a great desire to dive straight back into our daily routine. We’ve all come together with a single aim: to achieve the goals we know we’re capable of.”
“We are so focused on our league campaign that we view this match as a crucial fixture purely in terms of the table. We’re up against the strongest team in the league, who have fully deserved their position having been top since the very first matchday. Roma boast a sensational, almost stratospheric attack, and deserve all our respect and admiration. However, whilst we respect them, we must not be afraid: fear is not in our nature, absolutely not.”
The match between Juventus Women and Roma is scheduled for 12:30 CEST on April 25, 2026.
The match will be held at the Pozzo-La Marmora stadium in Biella.
Massimiliano Canzi stated that Juventus Women are not afraid of Roma ahead of their upcoming match.
