Casemiro has made his choice regarding summer destination

Casemiro has been to Florida with his family on vacation and likes the place. Complications have arisen due to LA Galaxy’s entry into the race.

However, The Daily Mail have reported that the Brazil international prefers to reunite with former Barcelona rival Lionel Messi at Miami.

LA Galaxy have complicated matters

However, the Herons, owned by United legend Sir David Beckham, will first need to make space within their wage structure before signing off on the deal.

In fact, even a pay cut could be in order for Casemiro, if he is to play alongside Messi at the Nu Stadium.

“The decision not to extend Casemiro’s £375,000-a-week deal was made by the club, and United are sticking by that decision as they search for a replacement.

“The 34-year-old will leave as a free agent and is understood to prefer Lionel Messi’s Miami side over LA Galaxy if he moves to Major League Soccer.

“Casemiro’s family are said to be keen on a move to Florida after going on holiday there, and the player wants the opportunity to play alongside Messi.

“David Beckham’s club would still need to create some space within their wage structure to comply with MLS rules, and Casemiro would have to take a pay cut, but a deal now seems on the cards.”

While an exit is guaranteed, United fans will be hoping to see more goals from the Brazilian maestro in the remaining three league games before he leaves the Theatre of Dreams for good.
