CBS points to one wish Raiders could have for 2026 season schedule

What is the most advantageous game that the Las Vegas Raiders want to see on their schedule for the 2026 NFL season? The Raiders have a difficult slate of opponents that they will face next season, but who they see on the schedule, and when, has the potential to greatly impact their season.

According to CBS Sports’ Bryan DeArdo, a home game against the Tennessee Titans following the bye week is the most ideal matchup that the Raiders have the chance to see on their schedule next season.

”This is a very specific ask for a very specific reason. Kirk Cousins will probably begin the season as Las Vegas' QB1, but at some point, fans will inevitably call for Fernando Menzoda. A home game against a weak opponent fresh off a bye week would be the ideal time to make such a change.”

The Titans are a young team that will need to forge continuity with second-year quarterback Cam Ward leading a new-look offense that also includes wide receivers Wan’Dale Robinson and rookie Carnell Tate. Tennessee improved their defense with the additions of John Franklin-Myers, Jermaine Johnson and Cor’Dale Flott in the open market, but have much to prove as a team with playoff potential.

In the event that Cousins wins the starting quarterback job over Mendoza to begin next season, Tennessee will be one of the easiest opponents that Las Vegas has the potential to face immediately following the bye week.
