The Boston Celtics struggled a bit to pull away in Game 3 of their NBA Playoffs series against the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite this, they still clutched up and notched the 2-1 series lead through a 108-100 win. Big shots were hit as Coach Joe Mazzulla made all of the right calls in a tight game. But, the story of this game? It is none other than Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown pulling off insanely rare postseason records.
To start off, Jayson Tatum was the one running the offensive engine for Coach Joe Mazzulla's team. He put up 25 points through knocking down 52.9% of his shots from the field while also dishing out seven assists. Alongside all of that, Tatum notched four rebounds, a steal, and only turned the ball over once.

Moreover, he also becomes only the third player in NBA Playoffs history to have 3,000+ points, 1,000+ rebound, and 500+ assists in their first 10 seasons. Tatum joins legendary company in this postseason feat as the two other players are Bird and , per

Jaylen Brown, on the other hand, also had an insane performance. Coach Mazzulla entrusted him to play 40 minutes and it was worth every second. He put up 25 points on an efficient 56.2% clip from the field. Brown grabbed seven rebounds, four assists, registered three blocks, and a steal to torture the 76ers.
With his 25-point performance, Brown moved up to seventh in the all-time Celtics NBA Playoffs scoring list. He usurped all-time great players in Bill Russell and Robert Parish.
