One area the Los Angeles Chargers might look to reinforce this offseason is the receiver room for Justin Herbert.
With Keenan Allen (we think) not returning, Herbert's weapons, at the time of writing, consist of Tre Harris, Ladd McConkey, and Quentin Johnson. Those are the big three that Mike McDaniel will have to work with.
Is that enough? Some aren't so sure.
But the Chargers appear to be banking on the internal development of the room to help push the offense along in 2026.
And for general manager Joe Hortiz, the team is confident in its receiver room.
"We're really excited about the wide receiver room," Hortiz said via ESPN. "[Offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel] has talked about it. Just development all those guys have made. All starting with [Johnston]. Watching him get better year after year after year."

I'm not sure if using a first-round pick to get a player like Jordyn Tyson is the move, but is there a receiver the franchise could add later in the draft or even in free agency?
Surely there is.
But based on Hortiz's comments, the Chargers feel good about their receiver room, which might suggest no new players will be coming into McDaniel's offense.
Getting the most out of Herbert is the key here, and adding another receiver, one who can be a productive starter, should at least be on L.A.'s to-do list.
