Bournemouth has reached an agreement to appoint Marco Rose as their new head coach, succeeding Andoni Iraola.
Charlotte FC's undefeated home streak ended with a 1-2 loss to Nashville SC, the top team in the conference. The match featured an early goal from Nashville's Edvard Tagseth.
CHARLOTTE (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) â The Crown was on a mission to remain undefeated at home before their month-long stretch of away matches. In the end, Charlotte FC would fall to the top team in the conference.
Charlotte FC has been on a roll at home, having won three games and two draws at Bank of America Stadium. But on Saturday night, they had a fight in store for them. The Crown faced off against the division leaders, Nashville SC.
Nashville set the tone early with a goal by Edvard Tagseth in the 14th minute.
The first half ended with Charlotte down by one.
In the 62nd minute, Nashvilleâs Patrick Yazbek scored the teamâs second goal of the night.
Charlotteâs Idan Toklomati attempted to get a point on the board, but the shot was saved in the top left corner by Brian Schwake. His second attempt was too high and wide of the goal following a set-piece situation.
The Crownâs multiple attempts at the goal were ultimately shut down by Schwake until the 90th minute, when Archie Goodwin converted a penalty with a right-footed shot.

Charlotte FC will take a brief break from the regular season for the U.S. Open Cup. The team will face off against Charlotte Independence at 7:30 at Mecklenburg County Sportsplex in Matthews.
Their next regular-season match is set for April 18 against New York City at Citi Field.
