The Miami Dolphins selected defensive end Trey Moore with the 130th pick in the 2026 NFL draft. Moore, a former player at UTSA and Texas, recorded impressive stats over his collegiate career, making him a key addition to the team's edge rusher group.
The Miami Dolphins had so many needs to address in the 2026 NFL draft, and they ended up taking 13 players who they hope will help the team set up a solid base under new head coach Jeff Hafley.
Among the seven players that Miami took on Day 3, defensive end Trey Moore was the first at pick No. 130 in the fourth round.
The 6-foot-2 defensive end spent three seasons at UTSA, where he earned All-AAC honors once, before transferring to Texas for the final two years of his collegiate career. In 57 games between the two schools, he recorded 175 tackles, 30.5 sacks, 13 passes defensed, five forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and an interceptions.
With the Dolphins losing Jaelan Phillips and Bradley Chubb in the last year, Miami needed to address their group of edge rushers this offseason. While they signed David Ojabo, Joshua Uche and Robert Beal Jr., Moore will have an opportunity to with the job opposite Chop Robinson.
