With Liam Rosenior now gone, weâre in for a long summer of speculation about who the new Chelsea manager might end up being.
Weâve seen all the usual names trotted out time and again, now a rogue one has been thrown into the mix. CaughtOffside quote Italian sources in saying that former Chelsea (and current Napoli) manager Antonio Conte is back on the agenda.
Heâs continued to impress since leaving us, winning titles with his current team and with Inter. But his time at the south of Italy could soon come to an end if he feels heâs run his course there.
This is really a preposterous idea for a number of reasons.
We all love Conte and would happily have him back at Chelsea, but itâs never going to happen. If the Italian coach wasnât able to work in the pretty permissive atmosphere created by Roman Abramovich and Marina Granovskaia, imagine how heâd cope with the BlueCo setup?

Antonio Conte is linked with a return to Chelsea due to the vacancy left by Liam Rosenior, but the connection is considered a long shot.
Challenges include the new ownership's direction and Conte's personality, which may not align with the club's current management style.
While Antonio Conte is one name mentioned, the article suggests that there will be ongoing speculation about various candidates throughout the summer.
