Pedro fits the bill well as the Brazilian has been sublime since joining Chelsea, racking up 20 goals in all competitions this season.
The report, though, adds that Chelsea are not too keen on selling Joao Pedro, as he is one of the most important players in the current team. That is why the total deal value could reach up to €100 million, including bonuses.
This is in stark contrast to the €70 million figure mentioned in earlier reports and doesn’t make Pedro all that cheap compared to Julian Alvarez.

That is perhaps why Deco considers it paramount to build first contacts with Pedro, knowing he would need push from the Brazilian, in case Chelsea are determined to keep hold of his services.
