The Kansas City Chiefs' approach to the NFL Draft is going to be an interesting watch with the franchise having two first-round selections.
Given the Chiefs aren't likely to have a pick this high (No. 9) again for a while, or at least that's the hope, the franchise has a chance to grab a true difference-maker on either side of the ball.
But where could the Chiefs go? Corner Mansoor Delane or edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr. have been mocked to Kansas City recently.
However, a trend is beginning to emerge: the Chiefs are taking a receiver with their first pick, and this continues in CBS Sports' Tom Fornelli's latest mock.
He has Kansas City selecting Jordy Tyson after trading back from No. 9 to No. 18 with the Minnesota Vikings.
"After moving down from No. 9, the Chiefs are still able to land a WR who can be a difference-maker in Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson," Fornelli wrote.

We know that the Chiefs fixed their run game, adding Kenneth Walker, but receiver feels like a position the franchise could attack in the draft.
After Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, and Tyquan Thornton, there isn't much there in the receiver room, so adding a player like Tyson could be just what the doctor ordered.
A polished route runner, if this is the Chiefs' selection, I'd imagine Mahomes developing chemistry rather quickly with Tyson, and that will allow the rookie to hit the ground running in 2026.
There are a lot of routes the Chiefs can go down in the first round, and receiver feels like a safe bet.

The Chiefs are looking to strengthen their roster, particularly focusing on selecting a wide receiver, cornerback, or edge rusher with their two first-round picks.
Recent mock drafts have linked corner Mansoor Delane and edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr. as potential selections for the Chiefs.
The Chiefs' No. 9 pick is significant as it provides a rare opportunity to draft a high-impact player, which may not occur again for some time.
