The Kansas City Chiefs selected Cincinnati WR Cyrus Allen with the 176th pick after his standout season with 13 touchdown catches. Allen, who previously played at Louisiana Tech and Texas A&M, is expected to compete for a depth role in the Chiefs' offense.
Allen was ranked the 257th prospect and the 38th-ranked receiver by *Arrowhead Prideâs* consensus rankings. The Athleticâs Dane Brugler ranked Allen 27th among the receivers in this class, grading him as a fifth-to-sixth-round prospect in his draft guide, âThe Beast.â The 23-year-old receiver measured in at 5 feet 11 inches tall and 183 pounds at the NFL Scouting Combine and posted the following numbers:
Cyrus Allen recorded 13 touchdown catches and 49 receptions during his 2025 season with the Cincinnati Bearcats.
Cyrus Allen was ranked 38th among wide receivers by consensus rankings and 27th by The Athletic's Dane Brugler.
Cyrus Allen is likely to compete for a depth position on the Chiefs' wide receiver depth chart, potentially being fourth or fifth in line.
