The NFL Draft is nearly upon us, and teams are close to finalizing their draft boards, and the Kansas City Chiefs are no different.
But this year's draft appears to be one that is going to be a little different, based on how close the early part of the class is in terms of value.
Plus, there are players at the top of the draft that are going to be a big topic of conversation because every team is going to view them differently, along with positions like safety suddenly being a coveted position.
And for Chiefs general manager Brett Veach, due to the uncertain nature of the draft and how close players are value-wise, he thinks that fans could be in for a treat.
"I think that the fans will be in for a treat next Thursday because I think some of the grades are going to be close for some of these tackles, D-ends and other receivers," Veach said via NFL.com. "That a lot of these guys that are mocked high may go a little low and a lot of these guys that are getting mocked lower may go a little higher because they're so close this year and it's not this huge gap and big fall off."

Holding two picks in the first round, the Chiefs have a lot of options at their disposal. Which positions they could target at No. 9, plus teams looking to trade up might call the Chiefs, so there is a lot to look at.
