Former NBA guard Chris Paul did not hold back on his former team, the Los Angeles Clippers, after their play-in loss to the Golden State Warriors.
Paul took to his personal Instagram to troll the Clippers in a big way.
The Clippers, who were up by as many as 13 points in the contest, were shut down by the Warriors, specifically in the fourth quarter.
Golden State finished the contest on a 16-6 run and held Clippers star Kawhi Leonard scoreless in the fourth quarter until the final 16 seconds of the game.
The Warriors will now take on the Phoenix Suns for a chance to clinch the No. 8 seed on Friday. The winner will take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round starting on Sunday.
Paul's short tenure with the Clippers this season ended in the most disastrous way. After a rough start, both on and off the court due to clashes over his vocal leadership, Los Angeles decided to cut ties with the future Hall of Famer in December 2025.
After returning to Los Angeles to finish his career, the Clippers sent Paul home during a road trip and eventually traded him to the Toronto Raptors following a breakdown in communication with head coach Ty Lue.
His time with the Clippers did not end well, which ultimately led to Paul retiring from the NBA in mid-February. The 40-year-old played 21 seasons in the association, including seven with the Clippers.
Paul's best stretch of his career came with the Clippers. In seven-plus seasons, he averaged 18.8 points per game, 9.8 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals while shooting 47.5 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from beyond the arc in 409 games and 33.9 minutes of action.
