It’s now time to dig into the draft class and find out what the Packers added to their roster during the year’s biggest roster-building event.
In this post, we’ll take a closer look at the entire draft class, providing breakdowns, player profiles, scouting reports from The Athletic’s Dane Brugler and comments from the Packers on all six selections in 2026:
Breakdown: Young (20 years old), fast (4.41) and explosive perimeter corner with elite physical ability, including recovery speed and reactive quickness, creating immense pro potential. Made only 21 collegiate starts, so a developmental pathway is required to maximize the gifts. Only 189 pounds but a fearless defender who can beat blocks and disrupt perimeter runs and screens, although tackling is hit or miss. The Packers believe he can play outside or in the slot. Limited ball production (12 PDs, 2 INTs) but gave up only 18 total catches in coverage in 2025.
Brugler's scouting report: "An explosive athlete, Cisse plays with excess burst and speed to fly to the football. He tends to declare his hips early and relies too heavily on his athleticism rather than his technique or anticipation, leading to coverage losses. When he finds the football, he is capable of impressive athletic feats to knock it away, but he needs to be more consistent with his body phasing to shrink catch windows. Despite needing to clean things up in the run game, his downhill toughness is great to see. Overall, Cisse is an unrefined, promising cover athlete with the twitched-up movements and speed to become an NFL starter. However, his pro ceiling will be determined by the development of his route recognition and ball skills. He offers inside-outside versatility with special teams (gunner) upside."
They said it: "He's one of the few guys that can play off man, can play press. His suddenness through transition is something that stood out to us. He's very young, we think his best football is ahead of him. We think he's got so much left in the tank not only as a player but physically as well, he'll get bigger and stronger…really like the fact that he took the step and went to South Carolina last year, better competition, and really showed well this past year." -- GM Brian Gutekunst

Brandon Cisse RAS
Breakdown: Long, powerful and versatile interior defender who consistently caught the eye of Packers brass on the SEC tape. At his best, can control gaps and shed blocks using long arms (34") and gigantic hands (11"), and there's legitimate pass-rushing juice for a 313-pounder. Well-conditioned big man who didn't need to come off the field on third down. Beat single blocks and finished sacks (6.0) in 2025. Potential to play snaps on the nose, at three-technique and even on the end in the 3-4.
Brugler's scouting report: "McClellan looks like an NFL player, with his big frame and bear-claw hands. He can be a tough guy for centers to defend when he times up the snap and uses his full extension or arm-over moves to create interior pressure. However, he can get stuck on blocks and needs to be more efficient with his hands to deconstruct and shed. Against the run, he can hold the point and respond well to double teams. Overall, McClellan isn’t a consistent disruptor, but he checks boxes with his physical characteristics and developing recognition skills. He projects as a rotational lineman on the interior who can give teams quality snaps as a zero-/one-technique."
They said it: "First of all, 6-4, 315 pounds. Can stop the run, he holds his ground very, very well. Very good pass rusher, can play up and down the line. Very versatile, which we like very much. Played in the SEC. Young player, proven already at a very high level at college. He's going to be a good fit here." -- GM Brian Gutekunst

Breakdown: Highly intriguing combination of size, measured athleticism and consistent production at a top program. Looks the part at 6-6, 256, with a nearly 83" wingspan and well-proportioned mass. Produced 147 total pressures and finished with 23.5 sacks, sixth most in school history. Consistently good, occasionally great tape. Aced the combine with one of the best workouts ever for an edge rusher his size, although athleticism doesn't always overwhelm on tape. Blocked three punts as a senior.
Brugler's scouting report: "Dennis-Sutton wins with a combination of quickness and power in all facets of his game. He isn’t very deceptive as a pass rusher, but his hands are active and aggressive, which allows him to mix up his attack with varying swims, stabs, rips and chops. Though he offers a solid anchor in the run game and rarely gives in, he lacks explosive twitch getting off blocks or redirecting in chase mode. Overall, Dennis-Sutton will find sack production harder to come by against NFL blocking, but he is a commanding presence and has the size, strength and quickness to be a force player on the edge. He will be more appealing to teams looking for a 'high-floor' role player, as opposed to a 'high-ceiling' pass rusher."
They said it: "Right now, rush the passer. He can chase them down. He's got the length and the height to get into passing lanes and block the quarterback from being able to see." -- Personnel executive John Wojciehowski

Breakdown: Big, experienced interior blocker who broke out as a 12-game starter at center in 2025. Played almost 2,700 career snaps, including over 1,500 at guard and almost 1,000 at center. Allowed zero sacks or QB hits in 2025, by far his best and most complete season. Tested well pre-draft, showcasing speed and lower-body explosiveness. Ambidextrous, capable of snapping with either hand. Missed only three games to injury over four seasons as a preferred starter.
Brugler's scouting report: "Burton is a good-looking athlete for his size, with foot quickness as a pass blocker and range in the run game. However, he isn’t a true mauler who plays up to his size or knocks defenders back on contact. The biggest wild card for his NFL transition is the consistency of his confidence and calls/adjustments. Overall, Burton needs to continue developing his sustain skills and the mental aspects of the position, but he is a quick-win blocker with position flexibility across the interior. He offers intriguing value for zone-based schemes on Day 3."
They said it: "Very excited to have him. Very excited about his future and what he's going to be for this team. Started at guard there, started at center. Fifth-year player, so he went through the process to develop. Big, strong, athletic, smart, tough -- check, check, check. Everything you're looking for." -- Packers director of college scouting Matt Malaspina

Jager Burton RAS
Breakdown: Former five-star recruit and high school track star who spent two seasons at USC and two more at Alabama but never scratched the ceiling of his potential. Good length, size profile. Limited production on the ball (14 PDs, 2 INTs in 46 games) and had a disappointing senior season, dealing with an injury and a midseason benching. Played better late in 2025. Speed shows up on tape. Played almost exclusively on the perimeter. Three-year starter at USC/Alabama, but limited special teams experience.
Brugler's scouting report: "Jackson flashes the linear speed that made him a record-setting sprinter in high school. However, his cover instincts and understanding of the nuances of his position aren’t on the same level. He is late to transition from his backpedal and can get turned around with his match movements. He needs to do a better job tracking the quarterback through the route and play stronger through the catch (only one pass breakup in 2025). Overall, Jackson is a battle-tested size-speed athlete, but his inconsistent eye discipline and short-area movements held him back on his college tape. Improvements in those areas — and a role on special teams — can get him on an NFL roster."
They said it: "Certainly, he has the size we're looking for, he's a rare athlete. Combination of size, explosiveness, speed. He played a lot of football at a high level of competition. He's been through some adversity, and he made it to the other side of that, something that drew us to him as well. We ask of those guys playing outside at corner as far as size, length, speed, he has that." -- GM Brian Gutekunst

Domani Jackson RAS
Breakdown: Strong-legged kicker who connected on 10-of-13 kicks of at least 50 yards, a school record. Made 83 percent of career field goal attempts over three seasons as Florida's kicker. Made 24 of 32 kicks of at least 40 yards, or 75 percent. Only missed one extra point. Range out to 65 yards. Kicked on big stages in the SEC. The consensus top-rated kicker in the 2026 draft class.
Lance Zierlein's scouting report: "Smack has a strong leg and can deliver beyond 50 yards at a high rate without having to drive balls with a lower trajectory. His repeatable process and consistent placement give him an above-average chance of making it in the league."
They said it: "We thought he was the best kicker in the draft. Cam (Achord) had a strong opinion about that, and so did I. Felt fortunate to be able to acquire him...he has a good chance to be a good kicker in the National Football League." -- GM Brian Gutekunst
