The New York Yankees have had an excellent start to the season, winning 14 of their last 16 games.

The Yankees' four-game sweep against the Baltimore Orioles showed why their run differential (+76) is by far the highest in the American League.

New York's pitching staff has certainly held up its end of the bargain.

As of today, Bleacher Report's Joel Reuter predicts that starting pitchers Max Fried and Cam Schlittler will earn All-Star selections.

"The Yankees have the best starting pitching ERA in baseball with a 2.74 mark, and the one-two punch of Cam Schlittler (7 GS, 1.51 ERA, 0.74 WHIP, 49 K, 41.2 IP) and Max Fried (8 GS, 2.39 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, 43 K, 52.2 IP) has led the charge," Reuter wrote Tuesday. "After the rotation looked like a potential weakness entering the year with so many notable injuries, it has turned out to be their biggest strength."
