Indiana menâs basketball was originally set to host another transfer portal visitor this week, but that changed as the Hoosiersâ roster did.
Sebastian Rancik, a rising junior forward at Colorado, was originally meant to take a visit to Bloomington this week but ended up cancelling that visit just a day later. Rancik will now visit Kentucky in Lexington this week as the Wildcats look at their own roster reload.
Given Rancikâs position at power forward and Indiana landing two frontcourt players in SMU transfer Samet Yigitoglu and Alabama transfer Aiden Sherrell this week, itâs understandable that a guy seemingly looking for a starting spot would do so elsewhere. Yigitoglu is in line to start at center while Sherellâs commitment almost certainly makes him lined up at power forward. Thereâs no room for Rancik other than off the bench or in a weird jumbo lineup.

Rancik's visit to Kentucky suggests he is seeking a better opportunity for a starting position, as Indiana's roster now has limited space for him.
