Colorado football had a productive spring, integrating 40-plus new transfers and implementing an entirely new offense. The recruiting trail is heating up with the Buffaloes hosting multiple visitors during April's spring game and gaining a commitment from their quarterback of the future.
On Monday, Colorado locked in an official visit with four-star wide receiver Jaiden Kelly-Murray, who recently broke off a commitment to South Carolina. The South Carolina native does have a Crystal Ball prediction for Virginia Tech. Still, the fact that Colorado will have him on campus the weekend of June 19 speaks volumes about the Buffaloes' chances.
247Sports ranks Jaiden Kelly-Murray as the No. 301 overall player in the 2027 class, the No. 317 receiver and the No. 6 player from the state of South Carolina. He holds 39 offers, including those from Illinois, Wake Forest, Arkansas, Duke, Florida State, Indiana, Penn State, Stanford and Florida, among others.
Recent Colorado quarterback commit Andre Adams, who has already been out on the recruiting trail, is doing it once again with Kelly-Murray.
Needless to say, a commitment from Kelly-Murray would be a significant boost to Colorado's 2027 recruiting class. As a junior in 2025, Kelly-Murray hauled in 64 receptions for 957 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also carried the ball 16 times for 98 yards.
