Pierce is expected to be sidelined for at least three months following an ankle procedure, dealing a notable blow to the Coltsâ offensive outlook just before the NFL Draft.
While early expectations suggest Pierce could be back in time for training camp, the update still caught fans off guard, especially on the heels of the massive $114 million deal he signed earlier this offseason.
If Pierce isnât ready to go by camp, the concerns around the Coltsâ receiving corps only grow louder, with Josh Downs currently the lone proven option alongside him and limited depth behind the duo.
