The Indianapolis Colts waived four players following the 2026 NFL draft, including Viliami Fehoko Jr., Joseph Vaughn, Bill Murray, and Jack Wilson. These cuts were made due to a roster crunch after the draft and undrafted free agency.
Following the 2026 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts announced a series of roster moves, releasing four players.
Defensive end Viliami Fehoko Jr., linebacker Joseph Vaughn, and guard Bill Murray were all waived. Offensive tackle Jack Wilson was waived as well, and if he clears waivers, he will revert to the Colts' injured reserve list.
Following the draft and undrafted free agency, these players found themselves at positions in a roster crunch. Defensive end and linebacker are two units where multiple additions were made in the draft, while the Colts added Jalen Farmer, an offensive lineman, in Round 4.
Fehoko was signed to the Colts' practice squad last November. A former fourth-round pick by Dallas in 2023, he has not appeared in a regular-season game.
Vaughn was signed back in January to a futures deal. He went undrafted in 2025 out of UCLA. Over his college career, he appeared in 44 games between his time at UCLA and Yale.
Wilson joined the Colts' practice squad during the 2024 season but missed all of last year with an injury.
Murray was signed to the Colts' practice squad in December. Since going undrafted in 2020, he's palyed 42 offensive snaps, all of which came with Chicago in 2024.
