Coman hat-trick books Asian final for Al Nassr - but star warns nothing won yet

However, for the moment at least, Coman isn’t counting any chickens.

**"**It was a very good game," the summer signing from Bayern Munich said. "We showed good reaction after [conceding] the first goal and that’s the way to play. I’m very happy with the performance. Now we go back with confidence and give everything to [our] league [campaign].

"This season has been good, but the league and Champions League Two have not been won yet. We are in a good way, but we know we still have to give everything to win the titles."

Manager Jorge Jesus, leaning on his previous RSL title-winning experience, shared the sentiment.

"Our goal was to reach the final and we have done so with great effect," the former Al Hilal man said. "We had our weak moments against a strong team, but to play every three days at such a tempo is not easy. We look ahead to the final but, first, we also want to win the [RSL].

"There are always two teams in the final and, when you reach the final, you are a good team. But, ultimately, only one lifts the trophy. Reaching the final is the hardest part of the journey; once you reach it, anything can happen in football."

Al Nassr, who across all competitions have now won a club-record 19 consecutive matches, resume their RSL campaign next Wednesday, in the huge home clash with third-placed Al Ahli.

The reigning continental champions have an Asian final of their own to contest, too. On Saturday, Al Ahli face Japan’s FC Machida Zelvia at Alinma Stadium in Jeddah in a bid to clinch back-to-back AFC Champions League Elite trophies.
