The Washington Commanders have signed all six of their draft picks ahead of the 2026 season, including linebacker Sonny Styles with a $37.2 million contract. Other signings include Antonio Williams and Joshua Josephs with contracts worth $7.25 million and $4.9 million, respectively.
Earlier today, it was reported that Washington Commanders linebacker Sonny Styles had signed his rookie contract. Now, it seems the Commanders have locked down all six of their draft selection, with all of them signing contracts ahead of the 2026 season.
CommandersWire dictated the terms of Styles' contract this morning, a deal worth $37.2 million. What we've learned since then is that he is receiving a signing bonus worth $23.9 million.
Antonio Williams' contract is a four-year deal worth $7.25 million. He's earned a $1.7 million signing bonus and has a pretty standard second-round pick contract.
Edge rusher Joshua Josephs signed a four-year rookie contract worth roughly $4.9 million with a $535,000 signing bonus.
Running back Kaytron Allen and center Matt Gulbin, both sixth-round draft picks, each signed a four-year contract worth approximately $4.6 million. No signing bonus specified for these two, which is typical for this round.
Quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis signed a four-year deal, although his details have not yet been officially reported. In the seventh-round slot, players typically receive $3.7-$4 million contracts.
With rookie minicamp starting today and the players hitting the practice field for the first time, all six draftees can focus solely on their responsibilities as players and not worry about the business side of things. Getting the business out of the way gives them one less thing to worry about as they transition from collegiate athletics to the pros.
