The PGA Championship starts today ⊠but Mizzou Womenâs Golf is heading to the NCAA Championships! For just the second time in program historyâ the Tigers have punched their ticket to the National Championship.
Itâs their first trip since 2005. All Mizzou needed to do was finish in the top five â and they came in fifth place in the Stanford Regional with a +8 overall score.
It has been a heck of a turnaround as the program was ranked 120th four years ago.
The Tigers are back in action May 22-27 in Carlsbad, California.
For those unaware of the format, Mizzou will be one of 30 teams remaining at the National Championships. There will be 72 holes of stroke play to determine the final eight teams â then thereâs match play to decide the champion.
