Inter Milan head coach Cristian Chivu praised his side’s performance in last night’s stunning 4-3 victory at Como.

“Today was a tough match, and we knew it,” Chivu said after the game. “We scored an important goal before halftime that helped us a lot.

“And we reacted like a mature team, aware of what we’ve done in recent months and what we’ll continue to do until the end.

“We started this season aiming to go far in all competitions, but the results say otherwise.

“We went out of the Champions League, and we’re disappointed. However, we still have two chances to finish the season well.”
