Currently sidelined following an incident with Aurelien Tchouameni, Federico Valverde should leave Real Madrid during the next transfer window. PSG is cited as one of the favorites to secure the Uruguayan international.
Ten years after joining Real Madrid's youth academy, Valverde seems increasingly close to a departure during the next summer transfer window.
Subject of numerous rumors within the Madrid locker room, and star of a recent clash with Tchouameni that ended in the hospital, the 27-year-old midfielder would be willing to leave Madrid. And El Chiringuito specified that PSG had already entered this case.
"PSG has contacted Valverde's entourage. That does not mean that the player wishes to leave nor that Real Madrid has communicated anything to him about it," said Marcos Benito, journalist for the flagship show in Spain.
Although the Valverde case is not at all as advanced as the Julian Alvarez one, the Spanish media reports that PSG will have to spend between $87 million and $109 million.
"In recent hours, and more specifically this weekend, a very powerful team in Europe, we could even say that it is the best team that currently exists, which is PSG, has contacted the player's entourage to see what his situation is. What would be the feasibility of being able to recruit him this summer?" the Spanish journalist said.
"I do not want to say that Valverde wants to leave Real Madrid, nor that Real Madrid has communicated anything to him. But PSG has taken a step toward him. They wanted to know what happened during his altercation and to make it clear that if at some point he wishes to leave Real Madrid, PSG will open its doors to him. Valverde, therefore, has an exit door. PSG has shown interest in him through Luis Campos, the sporting director, who has already contacted his entourage. If there is a conflict with the rest of the locker room or if his situation worsens, PSG is there," he explained.
Federico Valverde is reportedly considering leaving Real Madrid due to recent conflicts within the team, including an incident with Aurelien Tchouameni.
PSG is cited as one of the favorites to secure Federico Valverde's transfer, indicating strong interest in the Uruguayan international.
The next transfer window is expected to open during the summer, when Federico Valverde is likely to leave Real Madrid.

However, a recent update from RMC Sport (h/t PSG Xtra) has ditched that report from El Chiringuito TV. "PSG does not consider the midfielder to suit their current needs, and they have significant depth in that area. Furthermore, a permanent transfer for the highly-rated engine room man would mean breaking the bank for the French giants."
