The Bruins players and coaching staff are meeting today for their exit interviews, putting the bow on the year that was. Cam Neely, Don Sweeney, and Jeremy Jacobs are not speaking today.
They are out, and yes, the Sabres were the better team, but the Bruins had their chances. Now, the Bruins will likely start the 2026-27 season without one of their top defensemen, as he was invited to an in-person hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety.
And thatâs it for the Celtics⊠The Bruins went 0-3 at the TD Garden, the Celtics went 1-3.
Around the league, the Flyers and Hurricanes kicked off Round 2 last night. The Hurricanes won 3-0. Following the game, the rest of the Round 2 schedule was released.
Regarding the IIHF World Championships, Connor Bedard will not join Team Canada, and James Hagens reportedly will join Team USA.

HAGENS: Per Mark Divver, James Hagens will play for Team USA at the World Championships. The tournament starts on May 15 in Switzerland.
The Providence Bruins are looking to even the series against the Springfield Thunderbirds (STL) tonight at the Amica Mutual Pavilion.

Philly Hockey Now: The Sixers won, sure, but the Flyers were shutout last night in Raleigh. The Canes capitalized quickly, and the Flyers could not get on the board. Will James has more on the loss.
