The Boston Bruins face the Buffalo Sabres in Game 6 of the first round tonight, with a chance to force a Game 7. They will be missing a top-six forward for the second consecutive game.

BOSTON â Itâs May, and the Boston Bruins are still playing hockey.
They will take on the Buffalo Sabres tonight in Game 6 of the first round. A win forces Game 7 on Sunday, time TBD. They will be without a top-six forward for the second straight game, but Marco Sturm continued with the lines that ended Game 5 at practice yesterday.
In other Bruins news, some of the Bruins AGMs are catching attention in open front office spots throughout the league, and the P-Bruins start their playoff run today.
Elsewhere around the league, two teams moved on to the second round, both posting 5-2 home wins in Game 6 last night. There is also a second Round 2 matchup confirmed, and now we know the start date for the second round.
The Seattle Kraken are also losing an assistant coach; she will explore other opportunities in the league.

GAMEDAY: The Boston Bruins (2-3) are up against the wall, but you all know that already. Tonight, they will take on the Buffalo Sabres (3-2) in Game 6 at the TD Garden; the Bâs are looking for their first home win of the series.
ARVIDSSON: Viktor Arvidsson was the only Bruin not at practice yesterday. After practice, Marco Sturm said that the Bruins were not planning on using him in Game 6, and on Wednesday, he said that itâs not an injury Arvidsson can play through.
BRUINS AGMs: Bruins AGM Jamie Langenbrunner interviewed for the vacant GM position in , according to Rick Dhaliwal.
The time for the Bruins vs. Sabres Game 6 is yet to be determined.
The Bruins will be without a top-six forward for the second straight game.
A win in Game 6 will force a Game 7 on Sunday.

NHL.com: The Minnesota Wild are off to Round 2. With a 5-2 win over the Dallas Stars, the Wild move on in six games. Game 6 was tied 2-2 in the third period before Quinn Hughes broke the tie, and Milford, MA native Matt Boldy iced the game with two empty netters.
It is Minnesotaâs first series win since 2015.

NHL.com: The Anaheim Ducks beat the Oilers 5-2 last night and confirmed that there will be a new Western Conference Champion. The Ducks knocked off the Oilers in six games, and Connor McDavid was held to just one goal in the series â he finished at a point per game.
