A big highlight of the 36th Annual Children's Cancer Fund Gala was the fashion show, where the Dallas Cowboys QBs Troy Aikman, Tony Romo, and Dak Prescott walked the runway with pediatric cancer patients. Their participation continued the “Quarterbacks for a Cure” tradition, which Cowboys legend Roger Staubach originally launched.

The event featured 18 pediatric cancer patients, ages 5 to 15, who confidently modeled outfits provided by Dillard’s. The gala set a new fundraising milestone, raising a record-breaking $4 million for pediatric cancer research, surpassing last year’s total of $3 million. Organizers described the achievement as a clear sign of growing support and momentum in North Texas’ ongoing fight against childhood cancer.

Prescott served as Honorary Chair for the fourth consecutive year and played a central role in the evening. Prescott is now a father of two and said that parenthood has deepened his perspective, expanding his concern not only for the children battling illness but also for their families and broader support systems. He also said that he didn’t need much persuasion to stay involved with the cause.
