The Dallas Wings free agency spree continues.
The latest? The team agreed to a one-year deal with guard Odyssey Sims on Wednesday, according to ESPN's Alexa Philippou.
She will be on a standard veteran minimum contract, Philippou reported.
This marks Sims' third stint with the franchise after she was drafted by the team No. 2 overall in 2014 when they were the Tulsa Shock. She played for the team from 2014 to 2016 with her final year coinciding with the team's first in Dallas. She later returned for parts of the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
Sims appeared in 24 games last season, playing for both the Sparks and the Indiana Fever and averaging 10.1 points per game in 2025. Across 128 career games with the Wings, Sims has averaged 12.7 points, 3.8 assists and 2.5 rebounds per game.
Sims is a former Irving MacArthur standout and played college basketball at Baylor. At MacArthur she led the school to the state semifinals as a senior. In college, she was part of Baylor's 40-0 national title-winning team in 2012.
That success translated to the WNBA too. She came second in rookie of the year voting in 2014 and made the WNBA All-Star team in 2019. That campaign also earned her a Second Team All-WNBA selection. She has played in the WNBA Finals twice, first in 2017 with the Los Angeles Sparks and again in 2022 with the Connecticut Sun.
Sims' addition is the latest in a busy offseason for the Wings. The team has already signed deals with forward Jessica Shepard and reigning co-defensive player of the year Alanna Smith as well as veteran Alysha Clark.
