Dan Patrick: 2030 Super Bowl will be held in Nashville

As the 2026 NFL draft rapidly approaches, we are bombarded with more mock drafts than we know what to do with, and there aren't many other topics discussed, so it should perk up your ears when non-draft news becomes front and center.

The Tennessee Titans are building a brand-new stadium that is set to open in 2027. The new Nissan Stadium is a high-tech, experience-driven stadium that focuses on keeping fans entertained and having fun.

Discussions have already happened that the organization is pushing for a Super Bowl to be held in Nashville at the new stadium in the very near future. A delegation from the organization was at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, this February to see how the San Francisco 49ers ran things.

The noise the Titans have made over the Super Bowl hasn't gone unnoticed, and Dan Patrick is told they will get their wish in 2030.

"The 2030 Super Bowl," Patrick begins, "I was told by a source on Saturday, that it is signed and ready to go, in his opinion, that Nashville is getting the 2030 Super Bowl. I haven't seen any reports on this, and if there is a report on it, I'll acknowledge that, but this is what I was told on Saturday. Nashville is getting the 2030 Super Bowl, (Las) Vegas is getting the 2029 Super Bowl. 2027, Los Angeles, and then it's Atlanta in 2028."

The Titans have one Super Bowl appearance in their history, in 1999, when Jeff Fisher was the head coach. They lost 23-16 to the St. Louis Rams and haven't been back to the Super Bowl since.

Even if the Titans don't make it all the way to the big game in 2030, hosting an event like this puts Nashville on the map. It brings attention to an organization that is still trying to find its new identity after several years of turmoil, and it allows them to showcase the effort they put into this new stadium.

The likelihood of the Titans making the Super Bowl in 2030 is hard to predict this far in advance, but let's suffice it to say that while that's the goal every season, in 2030, the Titans will be heavily focused on a postseason appearance.
