Dana White has made it clear that the crowd for UFC White House isnât going to be filled with MMA fans.
Tickets for the event, hosted at President Donald Trumpâs residence, are not up for sale. Instead, the UFC CEO will distribute them to members of the armed forces in recognition of their service.
Dana White addressed how tickets would be handled for the event during an appearance on FOX News Channelâs My View with Lara Trump.
âWell, your father-in-law, he wants this to be mostly for the military,â the UFC boss said on Sunday. âSo thereâs going to be 4,300 people there. I just literally went over it right now, 4,300 people, and most of them will be military.â
For those who want to watch in person, the Ellipse across the street from the White House is hosting a public viewing of sorts for the event. It can seat up to 85,000 fans and is totally free if you register.
âAcross the street is the Ellipse,â he added. âFor those who donât know, the Ellipse is a massive park thatâs literally, youâll be able to see the fight from the Ellipse. But we have screens, weâve got stages, we have music, we have activations over there.
âWeâre going to give away about 85,000 tickets. And thereâs a process. You have to register for tickets, and theyâre free.
âBut you should come to Washington, D.C. that week, the week of the fight. Weâre going to be doing all kinds of things, in D.C. for fans. Itâs really a cool city. Probably most people have never been. If youâre a UFC fan, this is absolutely positively the time to come to D.C.â

Dana White has confirmed a seven-fight card, which is much leaner than usual, for the event.
But with only seven fights scheduled so far and no undercard announced yet it still remains unclear whether more bouts will be added before fight night.
Dana White is sticking with ESPN+ for official broadcasts despite YouTube TV adding UFC Fight Pass recently. This will be the fighting card for the event:
