Dana White and Eddie Hearn have traded verbal shots in recent months following the launch of Zuffa Boxing, marking White’s entry into the boxing market to rival Matchroom Boxing.
The rivalry has escalated publicly, with both men even suggesting they could settle their differences inside the ring, although the idea never appeared to carry genuine weight.
Despite that, tensions remain high, and White has now revealed that discussions around a potential fight were not entirely hypothetical behind the scenes.

Speaking at the UFC 327 post-fight press conference, White confirmed that his Zuffa Boxing partner Turki Alalshikh attempted to put together a bout with Hearn.
“Don’t you think Turki would try to do that fight?” White said at the UFC 327 post-fight press conference when asked about the possibility.
“Did Turki make you an offer?” a reporter followed up, seeking clarification.
“Of course they did. Yeah,” White replied.
White also played down the seriousness of the idea, stating that if it ever happened, it should open a card rather than headline it, while noting his age as he approaches 57.

White did not hold back when discussing Hearn’s boxing ability during the same exchange.
He said the 46-year-old promoter looked slow during training.
“Well, Tito’s dumb as hell, but Tito’s not a p——. Eddie Hearn’s a p——. Eddie Hearn ain’t boxing anybody, f——— posting pictures of himself hitting the f——— speed bag. It looks like it’s in slow motion,” he said.
