What a game. What a night. Ball Arena was electric. The Avalanche pulled off the miraculous comeback to finish off the Minnesota Wild in five games.
This is what they wanted all year. The top seed in the Western Conference and the Presidentsā Trophy have been the goal since Day 1 for this exact reason. Colorado got to sweep the Los Angeles Kings while the Dallas Stars and Minnesota beat up on each other. They then got to dominate what was left of the winner of that series.
Thatās what they did.
