Deen’s Daily: Round 2 Begins!; Hurricanes Keep Dominating; Can Montreal Advance?

The Colorado Avalanche begin their second-round playoff series tonight. The Carolina Hurricanes started theirs yesterday and kept dominating in postseason play. Also, can the Montreal Canadiens solve the Tampa Bay Lightning in a winner-take-all Game 7 to close out the first round?

Colorado Hockey Now

The Avalanche and Minnesota Wild boast arguably the two best defensemen in the game. This will be the first time they meet in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

The schedule for the opening round was released, and it incudes a pretty lengthy break after Game 2 in Denver.

In case you missed it, the finalists for Jack Adams were also announced on Friday. And Jared Bednar was not among them (shocker).
