Denver Broncos: 28 key prospects to track in NFL draft

4. Nebraska RB Emmett Johnson (5-10, 202 pounds): Johnson had a productive senior season, rushing for 1,451 yards and 12 touchdowns while adding 370 receiving yards and three more scores as a receiver out of the backfield last fall.

5. Penn State RB Nicholas Singleton (6-0, 219 pounds): Singleton can get it done as a runner, receiver and returner, setting a Nittany Lions record with 5,586 all-purpose yards and 55 total touchdowns in four seasons.

6. Vanderbilt TE Eli Stowers (6-3, 239 pounds): Stowers has been heavily linked to Denver leading up to the draft, but they might need to trade up if he's the target. He won the John Mackey Award (given to the nation's top tight end) last fall after totaling 62 receptions for 769 yards and four touchdowns.

7. Ohio State TE Max Klare (6-4, 246 pounds): Klare earned first-team All-Big Ten recognition last season after hauling in 43 receptions for 448 yards and two scores.

8. Stanford TE Sam Roush (6-6, 267 pounds): Roush totaled 49 catches for 545 yards and two scores in 2025, earning second-team All-ACC honors.

9. Georgia TE Oscar Delp (6-4, 245 pounds): In four seasons with the Bulldogs, Delp hauled in 70 receptions for 854 yards and nine touchdowns (55 games).

10. NC State TE Justin Joly (6-3, 241 pounds): Joly turned 49 receptions into 489 yards and seven scores last fall, earning first-team All-ACC recognition.

11. Texas A&M TE Nate Boerkirche (6-5, 245 pounds): Boerkirche spent six years at Nebraska. Last fall, he totaled 19 receptions for 198 yards and three scores.

12. Texas TE Jack Endries (6-4, 245 pounds): Before hauling in 33 receptions for 346 yards and three scores with the Longhorns in 2025, Endries totaled 91 receptions for 1,030 yards and four touchdowns from 2023-2024 at Cal (26 games).

13. Oregon G Emmanuel Pregnon (6-4, 314 pounds): One of the top guards in the draft, Pregnon might go off the board before pick No. 62. Broncos GM George Paton has not ruled out the possibility of trading up in the second round, and Pregnon could be one of the potential targets.

14. Georgia Tech G Keylan Rutledge (6-3, 316 pounds): Rutledge earned first-team All-ACC honors and third-team AP All-American recognition following 13 starts at right guard last fall.

15. Miami OT Markel Bell (6-9, 346 pounds): Bell could be a potential candidate to develop behind Bolles as a long-term option at left tackle. NFL.com has him projected as a third or fourth-round prospect.

16. Memphis OT Travis Burke (6-8, 325 pounds): Another third- or fourth-round candidate, Burke spent time at both right and left tackle in college, making him a strong swing candidate in the NFL.

17. Texas A&M OT Trey Zuhn (6-6, 312 pounds): Zuhn started 11 games at left tackle last fall and two games at center. He earned first-team All-SEC honors in 2025 and is now projected as a fourth-round prospect.

18. Ohio State DL Kayden McDonald (6-2, 326 pounds): McDonald probably won't fall to No. 62, but if he falls into the second round, the Broncos might consider moving up to grab him.

19. Florida DT Caleb Banks (6-6, 327 pounds): Banks has a history of foot injuries, but he's a high-potential prospect. If he falls late into the second round, Banks could represent good value for Denver.

20. Georgia DL Christian Miller (6-3, 321 pounds): Miller totaled 23 tackles (four behind the line) and 1.5 sacks last fall. NFL.com now has him projected as a second-round nose tackle prospect.

21. South Carolina DL Nick Barrett (6-2, 312 pounds): Barrett recorded 42 tackles (six behind the line) and two sacks as a team captain last fall. He's projected as a fourth-round pick.

22. Missouri DL Chris McClellan (6-3, 313 pounds): McClellan totaled 48 tackles (eight behind the line) and six sacks in 12 starts in 2025. The league's official website has him projected as a fourth- or fifth-round prospect.

23. Georgia LB CJ Allen (6-0, 230 pounds): Allen earned first-team AP All-American and first-team All-SEC honors last season. He was also a finalist for the Butkus Award, given to college football's best linebacker. Some mock drafts have him falling to No. 62.

24. Cincinnati LB Jake Golday (6-4, 239 pounds): Golday received first-team All-Big 12 recognition last fall after totaling 105 tackles, 3.5 sacks, three pass breakups and a forced fumble. He could be another potential candidate at No. 62.

25. Texas Tech LB Jacob Rodriguez (6-1, 231 pounds): Rodriguez took home a host of honors in 2025, including Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, the Butkus Award and the Bronko Nagurski Trophy (given to the nation's top defender). A first-team AP All-American, Rodriquez racked up 255 tackles, 10 forced fumbles, 10 pass breakups, six sacks, five interceptions and four fumble recoveries (two returned for touchdowns) in his final two seasons at Texas Tech.

26. Missouri LB Josiah Trotter (6-1, 237 pounds): Trotter is the son of former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Jeremiah Trotter, a four-time Pro Bowler. Josiah Trotter's older brother, Jeremiah Trotter Jr., currently plays in Philly. Josiah earned first-team All-SEC honors last fall after totaling 84 tackles and two sacks.

27. Texas LB Anthony Hill (6-2, 238 pounds): Hill was a finalist for the Butkus Award and earned second-team All-American and second-team All-SEC recognition in 2025 after recording 69 tackles, four sacks, three forced fumbles and two interceptions.

28. TCU LB Kaleb Elarms-Orr (6-2, 234 pounds): Elarms-Orr was named a first-team All-Big 12 Conference linebacker last fall after totaling 130 tackles and four sacks. He's the only linebacker on this list who could fall into the fourth round (based on pundit projections).

The 2026 NFL draft will be held in Pittsburgh from April 23-25.
