Boston point guard Derrick White is ready for the postseason to kick off as well, and said as much at a recent Celtics practice. "I think we're all excited," said White. "The year had a lot of uncertainty to start, and then now this is the moment that we all work for."
"I think every team starts training camp talking about getting to the playoffs, and now that it's here, we've got a big opportunity in front of us," added the University of Colorado - Boulder alum. As for how his rough shooting so far this season, White sounded ready to turn the page on a campaign that saw his most inefficient season from 3 since joining the team – and his worst overall efficiency of his career.
"Everybody starts zero to zero, so it's an opportunity for me to hopefully turn things around and really try to help us win games," the Celtics guard explained, sharing he was looking forward to the tactical aspect of the postseason as well.
