There are a lot of major injuries that have led to a lot of missed time for Moore. His most recent surgery for a groin was after his final college season which means there is no proof of recovery in a live game. A groin surgery has a good chance to be a “core muscle” injury.
Missing multiple games for concussion and back issues in 2023 is also something that needs investigation. Medical will want to determine how many concussions Moore has had in the past, and rule out any possible spinal issue for the back injury.
Recurrent shoulder issues, which includes at least one surgery, could present a reliability problem.
The Lions already have two CB’s (Terrion Arnold, Ennis Rakestraw) recovering from shoulder surgeries and probably want to avoid adding more shoulder uncertainty to the group. But the fact that they brought Moore in for a visit means that there is interest - if all his medicals can check out.
Moore finished with 5 INT and 8 PBU in college.
