Detroit Lions' picks, order in 2026 NFL Draft

The 2026 NFL Draft is officially here.

With nine selections to work with entering draft day, the Detroit Lions hope to fill some of their roster holes with stars of the future as the franchise's brass descends upon the Steel City.

The first round of the NFL draft is set for Thursday night at 8 p.m. ET and it will air on ESPN, ABC and the NFL Network. Friday's second and third rounds get underway at 7 p.m. ET and rounds four through seven are set for Saturday beginning at noon ET.

As draft night arrives, here's a look at the Lions' full set of 2026 NFL draft picks:

• Round 1: No. 17 overall
• Round 2: No. 50 overall
• Round 4: No. 118 overall
• Round 4: No. 128
• Round 5: No. 157
• Round 5: No. 181
• Round 6: No. 205
• Round 6: No. 213
• Round 7: No. 222

The NFL draft should move a little quicker in the first round this year. The NFL shortened the clock for first-round picks from 10 minutes to eight per team.

Here's a look at the time per pick each team gets by round:

• Round 1: 8 minutes
• Round 2: 7 minutes
• Rounds 3-6: 5 minutes
• Round 7: 4 minutes
