Detroit — The Detroit Pistons have secured the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and will begin their postseason at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday at Little Caesars Arena. Their first-round opponent will be determined by the NBA's Play-In Tournament, which began Tuesday night when the Charlotte Hornets eliminated the Miami Heat from contention with a 127-126 victory.
The Pistons will learn their first-round opponent on Friday night. However, the NBA has announced the complete first round schedule with dates and times for the first three games. The NBA playoffs will begin on Saturday.

In addition to the playoff schedule, the Pistons also announced on Wednesday morning activations and new offerings for Games 1 and 2, presented by Henry Ford Health and Ticketmaster.
There will be a pregame fan fest outside of Little Caesars Arena Plaza beginning at 3:30 p.m. for Game 1 on Sunday. It features family-friendly activities, including an airbrush tattoo station, sneaker cleaning and customization, etc. It will also feature a live art experience with Bandy Lee and a half-court basketball court, transforming the Little Caesars Arena Plaza into a pregame party before doors open. Select fan favorites, food and beverages will also be available in the Plaza for purchase.

When the doors to LCA open at 5 p.m. for Game 1, the first 10,000 fans will receive thundersticks, and all fans will receive a T-shirt from Henry Ford Health at their seats. For Game 2, the first 10,000 fans will again receive thundersticks upon entry, along with a rally towel presented by BetRivers, while all fans will receive a t-shirt presented by Ticketmaster at their seats.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and take their seats before tipoff to enjoy special playoff surprises during introductions and throughout in-game entertainment at all Pistons’ home games.
