The Detroit Tigers won 6-2 against the Red Sox, highlighted by Hao-Yu Lee's impressive throw to first base. Spencer Torkelson also made a notable pick at first.

That Hao-Yu Lee throw to first from deep down the third base line was killer.
From the backhand stab to the lines in the mud on the edge of the sloppy infield, it was a truly great play — and tip of the cap to Spencer Torkelson for the pick at first base.
That’s a high degree of difficulty play to make in good conditions, let alone a pig pen of an infield that had been thoroughly rained on (more on that soon) and amidst more falling rain. That it’s Lee’s first MLB weekend is all the better.
He’s looking like an apt fill-in on the infield for the injured Zach McKinstry, and will make a case for himself to hang around with more plays like that.

Rain. And when it's still cool-to-cold like it is this time of year, it really bites to be in the crowd when it rains like it has basically this entire series.
