OKLAHOMA CITY โ Phoenix Suns All-Star Devin Booker addressed his exchange with Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green that led to both being ejected late in Fridayโs 111-96 win in the final NBA Play-In Tournament game April 17 at Mortgage Matchup Center.
โIt's nothing man,โ Booker said after the game in Phoenix. โI've been there before and I understand the situation. My big brother used to beat me in NBA Live back in the day and I'd throw a fit. He's a competitor. He loves the sport.โ
Booker had crossed halfcourt and threw the ball ahead while heading into the direction of Green.

Green then extended his arm out and appeared to contact Bookerโs midsection as Booker bent over with Green holding onto him.
The two later had a heated verbal exchange.
Lead referee Scott Foster then ejected Booker and Green to opposite ends with 1:04 left in the game.
Green left the court to a chorus of boos from the sellout crowd of 17,071 in Phoenix. The Warriors veteran forward was egging on the fans to boo even louder while he headed to the visitors locker room.
The Suns open the NBA playoffs as an eighth seed and will face defending NBA champion Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round, beginning with Game 1 Sunday, April 19, at Paycom Center.
Phoenix makes a return on the playoffs after missing the postseason last year.
