At Chase Field: Rodriguez fired seven scoreless innings against the Pirates in his most recent start, a bounce-back from a shaky outing in Milwaukee the previous week. … Rodriguez has allowed zero or one run in four of his seven starts this season. One of those outings came against the Mets in New York, where he held them to one run on five hits in a 7-1 victory on April 9. … The Mets used this spot in the rotation for LHP David Peterson to pitch bulk innings in relief. Last time this spot came up, Brazoban started and pitched an inning, then the Mets went to RHP Austin Warren for two innings before turning to Peterson for four innings. … Peterson has been more of a true starter for most of his career, but he got off to a rough start this season, giving up 14 runs in 19⅔ innings in his first four starts. … The Diamondbacks hit him hard on April 8, scoring five times off him in five innings.
